Leonard Cohen is recovering after collapsing on stage last night (September 18).
The 74-year-old was performing 'Bird On A Wire' at Valencia Luis Puig Velodromo when he suddenly collapsed towards the end of the song. Fan video footage - which you can watch by scrolling down now - shows Cohen's bandmates rushing to his aid.
A spokesperson confirmed that Cohen was taken to hospital as a precaution, though he has since been released. The reason he fainted is thought to be due to food poisoning, reports BBC News. After he collapsed, audience members were informed that Cohen had been suffering from stomach cramps.
He is still expected to perform at Barcelona's Palau Sant Jordi venue on Monday (September 21).
