Leonard Cohen has announced details of a new studio album, which will be released the day after his 80th birthday.

'Popular Problems' is the singer's 13th studio album and will be available from September 22. It was co-written and produced by Patrick Leonard, who worked with Cohen on his last album, 2012's 'Old Ideas'.

'Popular Problems' tracklisting:

'Slow'
'Almost Like The Blues'
'Samson In New Orleans'
'A Street'
'Did I Ever Love You'
'My Oh My'
'Nevermind'
'Born In Chains'
'You Got Me Singing'
