THE LEVELLERS have announced a 28-date UK tour in support of their forthcoming 'Greatest Hits' album.
Set for release on October 26, the 15-track 'One Way Of Life - The Best Of The Levellers' album marks the band's tenth anniversary during which time they've racked up over a million album sales in the UK. A companion video compilation will also be released on the same date.
The Levellers' UK tour dates are: Ipswich Regent (September 14), Watford Colosseum (15), Guildford Civic Hall (16), Reading Hexagon (18), Liverpool Royal Court (19), Middlesbrough Town Hall (20), Sunderland Empire (22), Glasgow Barrowlands (23), Carlisle Sands Centre (24), Wolverhampton Civic Hall (26), Llandudno North Wales Conference Centre (27), Preston Guildhall (28), Hull City Hall (30), Nottingham Royal Centre (December 1), Kings Lynn Corn Exchange (2), Hanley Victoria Hall (4), Doncaster Dome (5), Oxford Apollo (6), Exeter University (8), Port Talbot Afon Lido (9), Bath Pavilion (10), Cambridge Corn Exchange (12), Poole Arts Centre (13), Margate Winter Gardens (14), Manchester Apollo (16), Kettering Arena (17), Brighton Centre (18) and London Brixton Academy (19).
Tickets cost '12.00 for all shows except London which is licensed late til 2am and costs '12.50. Tickets can be bought from the NME 24-hour Ticketline on 0870-1212-500. Calls are charged at national (UK) standard rate.
