Liars to release new album this June?

Band post teaser on their Tumblr hinting at 'Sisterworld' follow-up

Liars have hinted that they will release a new album this June.

The band have posted a new video on their Tumblr, which is called Amateurgore, suggesting that they will release the follow-up to their last studio album, 2010's 'Sisterworld', this summer.

The clip features an unspecified piece of music with interspersed images of singer Angus Andrew and co seemingly at work in the studio on new material.

The footage, which also includes random images of knives being sharpened and ambulances on fire, as well as shots of the trio digging graves together, then finishes with the words 'June 2012' on the screen.

The as-yet-untitled LP with be the band's sixth studio album. Last year, meanwhile, they released their live recording 'Live At The Music Hall Of Williamsburg' which featured tracks from 'Sisterworld' such as 'Scissor', 'No Barrier Fun' and 'Scarecrows On A Killer Slant'.

They had previously released another live album, titled 'Live At Shepherd's Bush Empire', in 2010.
