Lightspeed Champion has explained that he is scared of moths and playing massive gigs with emo stars – an unlikely combination, we admit.
The former Test Icicles man told NME.COM that he was over his fear of the flying insects - but the emo show still awaits.
“I used to be scared of moths, but I’m over that now,” declared Dev Hynes. “I still get stage fright all the time though.”
He added that he now faces the ultimate fear of playing a show along some of America’s biggest exports.
“I’ve just found out that I’m playing Wembley with Maroon 5 and Dashboard Confessional. That sounds very scary.”
To find out what the likes of Kasabian, The Reverend, John Lydon and The Pigeon Detectives are scared of, see the new Halloween issue of NME, out today (October 31).
