Adam Green, Chairlift, Lightspeed Champion for benefit

They band together for friend Jon Wiley

Adam Green, Chairlift and Lightspeed Champion are among a group of acts who will perform a benefit show in Brooklyn to help friend Jon Wiley pay off medical bills.

‘We Are the Wiley: A Benefit Concert for Jon Wiley’ will also feature DJ Johnny Tropical and will take place at The Shank art space in Williamsburg on July 9.

Wiley woke up without feeling or mobility in his arms and legs in March of last year and was subsequently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. After a weeklong stay at the hospital, he had a bill of $30,000.

Wiley is currently part of Lightspeed Champion’s live lineup and is also a member of Spacecamp.
