Dev Hynes finds unlikely new collaborator after poetry reading
Lightspeed Champion is working with a former 'X Factor' contestant, NME.COM can reveal.
Singer Dev Hynes is helping out Diana Vickers in the studio after the pair met at a poetry reading.
They met when Hynes got up and read at an event in Soho, central London and got chatting afterwards. Following the meeting, the duo went to Shoreditch's Strongrooms in the east of the city, where they have written two songs - 'Wood Wolf' and 'Anything Will Do'.
The pair are expected to finish the tracks when Hynes, who now lives in New York, returns to London.
Lightspeed Champion is not Vickers only collaborator, with the singer also writing songs with Nerina Pallot.
An album is expected next year.
