'LIL CEASE ON ATTEMPTED MURDER RAP

Rapper LIL' CEASE, cousin of LIL' KIM, has been arrested and charged with attempted murder in NEW YORK following a shooting that left a man hospitalised.

Cease, real name James Floyd, and associate Banger, real name Antoine Spain, both members of the Junior M.A.F.I.A collective, were arrested at La Guardia Airport in the early hours of Friday (August 10) morning, after the shooting. A third man Suif Jackson, a bodyguard for the group, was arrested in connection with the shooting sometime before. He was spotted in a car that witnesses identified as being involved.

All three have been charged with attempted murder, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon. According to allhiphop.com, two 9mm handguns found in a hidden compartment in Jackson's car were registered to Lil' Kim.

Though details of the incident are scant, it is believed the shooting followed an argument between 21-year-old Michael Goody and the three men charged. Goody was hit once in the right leg and is currently in a stable condition in Brooklyn Hospital.

It is not the first time Cease has been allegedly involved in a shooting. He was arrested and questioned in February over a shooting outside New York's Hot 97 club. No charges were brought.
