Lil' Kim has been released from prison after nearly 10 months behind bars.
The rapper, who was carrying a balloon and bouquet of white roses, waved to a group of fans as she was set free from a federal detention centre in Philadelphia in the early hours of this morning (July 3), reports ABC News.
Kim's attorney, L Londell McMillan, said in a statement: "She has accepted responsibility and handled herself in an exemplary manner."
The rapper, whose real name is Kimberly Jones, will remain under house arrest for a 30-day period and she will be on probation for three years.
She was convicted on three counts of perjury and one count of conspiracy in March 2005 in connection with the trial of a 2001 shooting incident outside New York's Hot 97 radio station.
Kim was sentenced to 366 days behind bars, but was released three months early on the grounds of good behaviour.
