LIL' KIM QUESTIONED BY POLICE

LIL' KIM has been questioned by police in relation to a gun battle outside a NEW YORK radio station on Sunday afternoon (February 25), but denies any involvement in the incident.

As reported yesterday (February 26) on NME.COM, one man was admitted to hospital, following a gun battle outside a party at which rap duo Capone-N-Noreaga and Lil' Kim were in attendance.

An altercation took place at approximately 3.15pm, involving up to six men, outside the building, which houses local radio station Hot97, WQHT.

According to a report in today's New York Daily News (February 27) Kim was questioned at her home about the incident.

US newspapers are speculating that the gun battle may be related to the track 'Bang Bang' on the Capone-N-Noreaga album 'The Reunion', where fellow rapper Foxy Brown, who makes an appearance as guest vocalist, appears to criticise Kim.

However, a member of her management team said she had "no idea" what started the argument. He continued: "She just knew that security jumped on top of her and put her in her car."

One man, Efrain Ocasio, was hit in the back and as a result of his injuries admitted himself to the local St Vincent's Medical Center.

He said: "All of a sudden, a group of guys started shooting, and the next thing I knew, I was hit... I had to stay on the floor three seconds playing I was dead. I figured somebody was going to come back and put more in my head."

It is anticipated police will interview up to 20 more people in relation to the incident, and no arrests have yet been made.
