HIPHOP PARTY GUNFIGHT - POLICE SEARCHING FOR SECOND VEHICLE

Police now believe they have identified one of the gunmen...

Police investigating a gun battle outside a NEW YORK radio station in which rappers LIL' KIM and CAPONE-N-NOREAGA had been attending a party are looking for a second getaway car.

According to MTV news in the US, an eyewitness to the incident, which left one man in hospital with a bullet wound to the back, claims to have seen two men jump in to a green van in a nearby street following the shootings.

According to the report, police now have a videotape in their possession which shows up to 20 people outside the Hot 97, WQHT radio station prior to the incident.

As previously reported on NME.COM, police are still attempting to identify a number of men who are believed to have taken part in the shootout outside the radio station in Greenwich Village on Sunday afternoon (February 25). Police say they have identified one man, but are yet to question him about the shootings.

Both Capone-N-Noreaga and Lil' Kim were at the station that afternoon, and one man, Efrain Ocasio, who was caught in the crossfire, admitted himself to hospital after being shot in the back.

US media have been speculating the gun battle may be related to the track 'Bang Bang' on the Capone-N-Noreaga album 'The Reunion', where fellow rapper Foxy Brown, who makes an appearance as guest vocalist, appears to criticise Kim.

Both sets of rappers have denied any involvement in the incident, and no arrests have yet been made. The New York Daily News claims police gang specialists have been brought in to try and put a stop to any possible reprisals from the incident.
