Lil Wayne is set to release his new album ‘Tha Carter IV’ on May 16 in the USA.
All the songs on the album aside from four have reportedly been recorded since the rapper's recent release from prison.
He served eight months in New York's Rikers Island jail for gun crime and was released on November 4 last year.
He told MTV News: "‘Tha Carter IV’ is done. It can come out tomorrow 'cause I'm so finished,” before confirming the release date.
The album is the fourth in Lil Wayne’s ‘Tha Carter’ series of LPs. Guests on the record include Nicki Minaj, Kanye West and T-Pain.
