Lil Wayne is facing yet another lawsuit after a production company announced plans to sue him for copyright infringement.

Done Deal Enterprises has accused the rapper of 'stealing' his 2010 hit 'BedRock', a collaboration with Cash Money Records protégés Nicki Minaj and Drake, reports Billboard.com.

The Georgia-based firm is suing Wayne - along with Universal Music Group, Young Money Entertainment and Cash Money Records - for $15 million (£9 million). The hip-hop star has been ordered to appear in court on October 12.

The lawsuit, which was filed at Southern District Court last month, is the latest legal issue the rapper has had to face.

Earlier this year, Lil Wayne was issued with his fourth lawsuit in four years after a producer claimed he hadn't been paid for work on the rapper's song 'Lollipop'.

He was also sued by producer Bangledesh over unpaid royalties in 2010, and for copyright infringement and cancelling a series of US shows in 2009.

In June, Lil Wayne announced plans to retire from music when he reaches the age of 30. He turns 29 next month.
