Lil Wayne has revealed that he is currently recording an album of "love songs", which will be titled 'Devol'.

The rapper, who had said that he was planning to release a new album titled 'I Am Not A Human Being 2', has now said that he is recording 'Devol' and that it will be released in the coming months.

Asked about his plans for the album, the rapper has said the record will contain his ''version of love songs'' and that he penned all the tracks during his time in Rikers Island prison, where he served an eight month sentence for illegal weapon possession.

Speaking about 'Devol', which is to be pronounced 'Devil', Lil Wayne said: "What I mean by my version of love songs is meaning they're not saying, 'I love you'. It's all material I did when I was locked up."

Asked about the title, the Cash Money rapper told MTV News that it was 'loved' spelt backwards and indicated that the tracks were his own take on love songs. He said of this: "That's 'loved' spelled backwards, and it's my version of love songs."

Lil Wayne is also planning to release a memoir documenting his time in prison, which is titled 'Gone Till November', on November 28 this year.
