Lil Wayne has pleaded guilty to attempted weapon possession.
The rapper, real name Dwayne Carter, could now face a one-year prison sentence.
The charges stem from a police search of his tour bus in New York in 2007, where officers discovered a handgun.
Wayne will remain free on bail until sentencing takes place in February.
