Lil Wayne's one-year jail sentence postponed for a third time

Rapper will now begin his jail term on Monday (March 8)

Lil Wayne's jail sentence has been postponed for a third time today (March 3).

The Manhattan court building the star was due to attend yesterday remained closed for repairs after it caught on fire, thus causing the extra delay.

Originally due to start last month and then delayed so Wayne could have dental surgery, the rapper is scheduled to begin a one-year jail-term for gun crimes.

As previously reported, Lil Wayne celebrated yesterday's postponement by making a cameo appearance at Jay-Z's New York Madison Square Garden show.

Lil Wayne is now expected to be sentenced on Monday (March 8).
