Lil Wayne was rushed hospital last night (August 21) after injuring himself while skateboarding.

According to Fox News, the rapper, who is currently on a US tour, was admitted to hospital in St. Louis and received nine stitches to a nasty cut above his upper eye. Another patient told the network that a member of the rapper's entourage had said he had sustained the injuries while skateboarding.

The rapper also tweeted about his injuries, writing on "Busted my fuggin head at the skate park! 9 stitches! Gnarly gash over my left eye!"

Lil Wayne has also revealed the tracklisting for his new album 'Tha Carter IV'. The album features 15 tracks, with Nas, Busta Rhymes, Drake and Rick Ross among the guest rappers.
