Lily Allen is number one on UK chart

Lily Allen has gone to the top of the UK chart today with her first single 'Smile'.

The newcomer knocks Wyclef Jean and Shakira from the summit after just a week. Razorlight are at Number Three with comeback single 'In The Morning', while newcomer Paolo Nutini enters at Five with 'Last Request'. Bob Sinclar is the only other new entry on the Top Ten, at Nine with 'World Hold On (Children Of The Sky)'.

Elsewhere, George Michael, Pipettes and Jamie T are amongst other new entries on the Top 30.

On the album chart, Muse go straight to Number One with 'Black Holes & Revelations', while the late Johnny Cash enters at Nine with 'American V - A Hundred Highways', the fifth album of his series recorded with Rick Rubin.
