Lily Allen is to feature on DJ and producer Mark Ronson’s new album.
Also featuring Robbie Williams, ‘Version’ includes mash-ups including The Smiths’ ‘Stop Me If You Think You’ve Heard This One Before’ mixed with The Supremes’ ‘You Keep Me Hangin’ On’.
Ronson, who has recently produced records for Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen and Christina Aguilera, is also set to release a double A-side single ahead of the album’s release.
Comprising reworked and remixed versions of Britney Spears’ ‘Toxic’ and Coldplay’s ‘God Put A Smile Upon Your Face’, the single is out on January 29.
Ronson is currently deciding whether to include his version of Lily Allen’s ‘Smile’ on the album. The track, as well as both sides of Ronson’s single, can be heard on his Myspace page.
‘Version’ is set for release on April 16.
