South By Southwest reveals schedule

Austin music fest also announces additional events

Austin's South By Southwest Music Conference and Festival has announced a schedule of events and performances, as well as several additions to its daytime conference lineup.

Among the newly announced conference speakers are Public Enemy founder Chuck D and renowned singer-songwriter Alejandro Escovedo, who will participate in a panel examining race and music on March 17.

A 'Comedy On The Music Circuit' panel on March 16 will feature notable comedians including David Cross. MySpace president and co-founder Tom Anderson will be interviewed at an event on March 15.

As previously announced, The Stooges, Bloc Party, Lily Allen, Kings Of Leon and Amy Winehouse are among the artists scheduled to perform at the festival, which runs from March 14-18.
