Lily Allen is set to launch a fashion line through the New Look chain.

Items are set to be priced from £5 to £55, and will be available in stores from Wednesday (May 9).

The collection is set to feature dresses in sizes six to 18, high heel shoes, patterned trainers and flowered jewellery.

The singer said she looked at 300 dresses in her wardrobe for inspiration and wanted something more than the “usual pretty flower style”.

In a statement she said: “You know how I feel about fashion: it’s for everyone, not just a load of super-skinny models.”

Madonna recently launched her own fashion line for H&M and Kate Moss did the same for Top Shop, reports the BBC.
