The singer may take up A&R work instead

Lily Allen has said that she will quit singing if her her forthcoming second album is poorly received, and become an A&R person instead.

According to Rolling Stone the singer is petrified of what the public will think of the record, which has the working title of 'Stuck On The Naughty Step'.

"I'm really scared about what people are going to say," she said. "Some people will like it and some won't. If people hate it, then I'll just try something else.

"I'd really like to do A&R at a record company. I love going to gigs."

Why would she want to do that?To me thats almost like taking the easy way out. There is almost always going to be an album in someones carrer that people aren't going to like as much.
