Details of charity compilation are revealed

The tracklisting for the forthcoming War Child charity album, 'Heroes', has been announced.

What a load of shit!! ‘These kids shouldn't be in such circumstances in the first place, but they are, so thank god someone's doing something about it.’ Yeah thank god some half arse musicians are gonna spend a couple of hours in the studio to make a shite version of a classic song to raise their sorry profiles and appear to be the good Samaritan. Its good value for money PR for them but a disgraceful abuse of music. Lets not get it twisted!

If Lilly Allen was genuineley concerned about those living in war zones, she shouldn't make stupid, ill-informed comments that encourage people to use coke, fuelling violence and exploitation in the third world.

Oh come on! They may not be perfect but at least they're doing something...which is better than some musicians. Besides I don't know you personally but I'd imagine 2 hours in the studio from them will do more for the third world than you've ever done in your entire life! So when they try and do something that might be perceived as showing compassion to those less fortunate than themselves don't crucify them even if the music may be shite!

I can't wait to hear 'Call Me' by Franz - right up their alley! Any anything new by Hot Chip and Beck is worth listening to.

Psycho_Mafia, if you took your head out of your hole for a minute you might consider that when Garvey says "thank god someone's doing something about it", he's actually talking about the War Child charity itself, not the musicians. But let's not let the truth get in the way of a good rant, eh? Ballbag.
