Lily Allen – now known by her married name Lily Cooper – made her live comeback earlier this week in Paris.

The singer performed her song 'Smile' at Paris Fashion Week at the Etam show in the French capital.

Lily tweeted about her performance prior to the event, writing: "Just did rehearsal for tomorrow's ETAM Show with @iamMarkRonson, still know the words to Smile, which is good. #mumback".

She recently revealed she was back in the studio with producer Greg Kurstin, telling NME that she wanted to make sure her material was "amazing" before anything was released officially. She said:

"I'm not going to put anything out until I've got an end product which I think's amazing – or, you know, good". She added that her new music would see the light of day "hopefully in the next year".

Last year, Lily unveiled her collaboration with Pink, which featured on the US singer's last album 'The Truth About Love'. It was Lily's first track since she announced her intention to return to her pop career having "retired" in 2009 to concentrate on having a family, her record label and her fashion boutique.

Lily gave birth to a baby girl named Marnie on January 8 of this year. Marnie is Allen's second child following the birth of daughter Ethel in 2011.
