Lily Allen reveals new song 'Air Balloon' – listen

Singer references Kurt Cobain and Elvis Presley on new track

Lily Allen has revealed her new single 'Air Balloon'. See above to hear the track now.

'Air Balloon' follows Allen's Number One cover of Keane's 'Somewhere Only We Know' and 'Hard Out Here' as the third track fans have heard from the singer since her return from retirement in 2013. The single will feature on Allen's forthcoming third album, and will be available to download in March.

Referencing her John Lewis advert fame, Allen tweeted a link to 'Air Balloon' by writing: "If you thought the Bear and Hare was annoying, you won't want to watch this."

Allen's next live performance will perform at the Royal Albert Hall in London as part of a one-off charity show this April. The singer will play live on April 1 as part of children's charity Coram's City Rocks event. Coram is the world's oldest children's charity and celebrates its 275th birthday in 2014.

Meanwhile, it was confirmed last week that a new Lily Allen song will be included as part of the third season of HBO series Girls. The third series of the Lena Dunham-scripted comedy will be broadcast in the UK on Sky Atlantic on January 20 at 10pm with a double bill of episodes, a week after it begins in the US.
