Lily Allen unveils video for 'Air Balloon' – watch

The single will be released on March 2

Lily Allen has unveiled the video to her new track 'Air Balloon' – watch it above.

The single will be released on March 2, and follows her Number One cover of Keane's 'Somewhere Only We Know' and 'Hard Out Here'. The video was shot in Cape Town and was directed by That Go.

It follows the unveiling of another new track last night (February 6) called 'L8 CMMR', which features on the soundtrack of the current series of Girls. Commenting on why she contributed music to the series, Allen said: "I think the show is brilliant, so it was more or less a no brainer for me. Greg Kurstin, who produced and co-wrote this track with me, played a few of the new tracks for a friend of his who works on the show. Apparently [Manish Raval, music supervisor] loved the songs, and later came back to Greg asking if he could include one of the tracks in an episode."

'Air Balloon' also follows Shelter You', a cover of a song by the late Tarka Cordell, making it the fourth track fans have heard from the singer since her return from retirement in 2013.

Lily Allen will perform at the Royal Albert Hall in London as part of a one-off charity show this April. The singer will play live on April 1 as part of children's charity Coram's City Rocks event. Coram is the world's oldest children's charity and celebrates its 275th birthday in 2014.
