Fred Durst is given a suspended jail sentence
Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst has pleaded no contest to seven assault-related misdemeanours.
Durst, 37, allegedly hit two Los Angeles residents with his vehicle on October 26, 2006.
Misdemeanour charges were filed three month later including two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, three counts of battery, and one count each of making a criminal threat and reckless driving.
After entering his plea of no contest, Durst was given a suspended 120-day jail sentence, fined $1,500 and ordered to perform 20 hours of community service, reports the Associated Press.
He has also been ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from the victims and has been banned from owning a firearm.
