Limp Bizkit and Def Leppard join Download Festival 2009

More names added to bill as tickets go on sale

The newly-reunited Limp Bizkit have confirmed their first live date, at 2009's Download Festival .

Fred Durst's band join the line-up with Def Leppard, Whitesnake and Trivium as tickets for the event went on sale this morning (February 13).

Slipknot, Motley Crue, Korn, Pendulum and The Prodigy have already been confirmed for the festival, which takes place at Donington Park between June 12-14.

Def Leppard headlining an English rock festival, well about bloody time. Leppard are one of the best, most under-rated hard rock acts out there. Hope the crowd treats them with the respect they deserve so everyone can relax and have a bloody amazing time!!

I have not felt this thrilled to be alive since they started selling can's of mixed nuts with bubble gum. At last! is anyone else as excited as me ? Wanna get rocked ? seriously i have been waiting for def leppard and limp bizkit to play a show together .. since i don't know how long now.
