Limp Bizkit at Leeds Festival: 'We wrote a new song backstage' - video

Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst has revealed that he wrote a new song just before his band were due to go onstage at the Leeds Festival.

The rap metal singer said the track would appear on their forthcoming fifth studio album 'Gold Cobra', which is due out later this year, in a video interview you can watch on the right now.

"Before we go onstage we do a ritual and write new songs," he said. "I've just figured out a new one to go on 'Gold Cobra'."

The rapper also revealed that festival organiser Melvin Benn warned them not to let fans get up onstage with the band or they faced having the plug pulled on their Reading Festival appearance.

"We've been told by the head of the festival Melvin [Benn] that if we invite anybody onstage he's not going to let us play Reading," Durst said.

"It sounds like a dare to me, it sounds like they're daring us," added guitarist Wes Borland.

"No, they just don't want anyone to get hurt," argued Durst. "I don't either."
