They thank fans for buying 'Minutes To Midnight'
Linkin Park gave a shout out to Motley Crue during their headlining set at Download Festival tonight (June 9).
The comeback kings, who recently scored a Number One album with ’Minutes To Midnight’, said they were sad to miss the Vince Neil led rockers who were playing on the Dimebag Darrell stage.
Before playing ’Somewhere I Belong’ co-lead singer Chester Bennington said: “The only thing that I’m bummed out about is that I’m missing Motley Crue's set."
The group raced through their hits but also played a number of songs from their current album including ’What I’ve Done’ and ’Bleed It Out’.
Bennington told the crowd prior to ’Crawling’: “We’d like to thank you guys for making ’Minutes To Midnight’ Number One across the fucking world.
“And we just want to dedicate this show to all of you who’ve been Linkin Park fans since day one - I can see a lot of ’LP’ flags out there.”
Linkin Park played:
‘One Step Closer’
‘Lying From You’
‘Somewhere I Belong’
‘No More Sorrow’
‘Papercut’
‘Points’
‘Given Up’
‘Don’t Stay’
‘From The Inside’
‘Leave Out All The Rest’
‘Numb’
‘Pushing Me Away’
‘Breaking The Habit’
‘In The End’
‘Crawling’
‘What I’ve Done’
‘Little Things’
‘Bleed It Out’
‘Faint’
