Linkin Park fan Devon Townsend of New Mexico has been jailed for two years for electronically stalking the band’s singer, Chester Beddington.
Townsend, who worked at a national security library, admitted to hacking into Beddington’s computer, accessing photos, email and voicemail.
She phoned up Beddington’s wife, Talinda, and threatened her, reports BBC News.
During her period of stalking, Townsend found out Beddington’s travel plans and at one point followed him to Arizona. She also obtained a copy of Beddington’s record contract.
Townsend is expected to receive mental health treatment while she is in prison.
