Linkin Park have revealed that their song 'Iridescent' will be featured in the new Transformers movie, Transformers: Dark Of The Moon.
In a post on Linkinpark.com, the band stated: "'Iridescent' has always been a fan-favorite when we play live, so we're thrilled that [director] Michael Bay decided to feature it in his third Transformers movie."
The rockers had also previously contributed the songs 'What I've Done' and 'New Divide' to the first two Transformers films.
"The first two songs were huge hits and I have no doubt that this new song will be equally as successful,“ Bay said.
Transformers film composer Steve Jablonsky added: “Michael and I respond to Linkin Park because they have a cinematic sensibility to their music that translates to the big screen.”
'Iridescent' features on Linkin Park's latest album 'A Thousand Suns'.
