US singer-songwriter Lissie is set to cover tracks by Lady Gaga, Metallica and Nick Cave on a brand new EP.

'Covered Up With Flowers' will be released on November 7 and sees the singer performing her own versions of Gaga’s 'Bad Romance', Metallica's 'Nothing Else Matters' and Nick Cave's 'The Ship Song' as well as Kid Cudi’s ‘Pursuit Of Happiness’ and Joe South’s ‘Games People Play’.

The EP marks Lissie’s first new release since her debut album ‘Catching A Tiger’, which came out last year.

Lissie will also appear on the new Snow Patrol album, ‘Fallen Empires’, which is released on November 14. Michael Stipe, formerly of REM, will also appear on the Glasgow-based band’s sixth studio album. Snow Patrol are set to tour the new record next year.
