Eminem bashes Donald Trump on new track ‘Campaign Speech’ – listen

Rapper drops an eight-minute stop-gap track as he works on his new album

Eminem has dropped a brand new track called ‘Campaign Speech’.

Clocking in at nearly eight minutes, it’s a minimal production which has the rapper dropping rhymes over a buzzing synth line.

The track sees Eminem tackle several topics, including the rise of Donald Tump.

He raps: “You say Trump don’t kiss ass like a puppet / ‘Cause he runs his campaign with his own cash for the fundin’/ And that’s what you wanted / A fuckin’ loose cannon who’s blunt with his hand on the button / Who doesn’t have to answer to no one / Great idea!”

“Don’t worry I’m working on an album! Here’s something meanwhile,” he wrote on Twitter as he shared the track.

Marshall Mathers joined Drake on stage this summer as the ‘One Dance’ star performed in the rapper’s hometown of Detroit.

“Detroit, make some motherfucking noise for Drake,” Em told his hometown crowd, as Drake bowed down to him and replied: “Make some noise for the greatest rapper to ever get on a microphone – he goes by the name of Eminem”.

Eminem added that it was a “honour” to share a stage with Drake. It had previously been rumoured that Em was set to release a Drake diss track, but this was later denied.
