Gorillaz producer announces new indie collaboration

Gorillaz producer Dan 'The Automator' Nakamura has collaborated with Little Barrie on their forthcoming album.

The band, who are currently putting the finishing touches to their as-yet-untitled follow up to 2005's 'We are Little Barrie', have been working with Nakamura on production duties in New York.

Blues Explosion drummer Russell Simins has also been roped in for a guest appearance on the album, due out in October.

Before that the band will be showcasing new tracks from their new record for a series of UK dates over the next couple of weeks.

They will play:

Bristol Harbourside Festival (July 30)
London St Moritz (August 2/23)
Kesgrave Music Festival (5)
Sheffield The Plug Club NME (7)
