David Gray and Damien Rice team-up at Live Earth
Songwriters duet at Wembley Stadium
The songwriters played their own songs before combining for a duet on a special acoustic platform in front of the main stage.
Gray performed his hit ’Babylon’, with Rice on guitar before they swapped roles.
The Irishman then played his track ’The Blower’s Daughter’, with Gray providing the backing.
The pair then picked classic song ’Que Sera Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be)’ by songwriters Jay Livingston and Ray Evans to close their short set.
"It's three o'clock, it's Wembley Stadium there's only one song we can do for our cover version," declared Gray. "It has to be this, I want to hear that old Wembley roar, come on!"
Live Earth continues in London with Kasabian on next, and performances coming from Bloc Party, Metallica and Madonna among others.
