Wembley Stadium gets two passionate performances
Corinne Bailey Rae played an impassioned set at Wembley Stadium this evening (July 7) as part of the London leg of Live Earth/
The singer who took to the stage in sparkling sequined dress, included a Marvin Gaye cover in her set.
“This song was written in the 60s by Marvin Gaye, when people had the same concerns,” she told the crowd. “Nothing’s changed.”
She then wound-up her set with an passionate version of single ‘Put Your Records On’ which saw Bailey Rae striding confidently up and down the catwalk in front of the Wembley stage.

The singer was followed by Terra Naimi who performed her song ’Say It’s Possible’ - which was inspired by organiser Al Gore’s film ’An Inconvenient Truth’ - on acoustic guitar on a platform just in front of the stage.
Live Earth continues in London with Keane on next, and performances coming from Spinal Tap, Beastie Boys and Madonna among others.
