James Blunt covers Cat Stevens at Live Earth
Singer turns Wembley Stadium into a 'Wild World'
James Blunt made his live return in the UK, with a set at Live Earth in London this evening (July 7).
The former soldier played a short performance backed by his band at Wembley Stadium, including a cover of Cat Stevens’s ’Wild World’.
“Thank you, thank you, what a thrill to be here,” Blunt told the crowd.
Despite the singer having an album due out later this year, he chose not to showcase any new songs and instead wrapped-up with first album track ’Some Mistake’

Live Earth continues in London with the Beastie Boys on next, and performances remaining from Pussycat Dolls, Foo Fighters and headliner Madonna who will be joined onstage by members of Gogol Bordello.
