Bavarian stand-up causes trouble at climate gig
The Live Earth concert in Hamburg took a brief turn for the worst when a Bavarian stand-up comic started making offensive references to the locals.
The comedian drew angry boos and shouts from the crowd when he bizarrely used his slot as a platform to insult people from Hamburg and northern Germany, BBC News reports.
Trouble was avoided when Enrique Iglesias quickly took the stage disfusing the anger.
Latin hit machine Shakira, Katie Melua, Mando Diao and Snoop Dogg are also on the line-up for the concert.
