LIVING END FRONTMAN SET FOR RELEASE FROM HOSPITAL

THE LIVING END frontman CHRIS CHENEY is expected to be released from hospital next week following his serious car accident.

The singer has three pins and a rod in his right leg and is not expected to be on his feet until Christmas. As revealed previously on NME.COM, Cheney was involved in a head-on car smash at the weekend (September 22). He was travelling along the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia with his partner Emma when an oncoming car moved into the wrong lane and smashed into his car at 100km/hr.

The impact ripped off the side of the car and sent them spiralling off the road and down the embankment, stopped only by a tree. The other car kept going and had a head on collision with another two vehicles shortly after. The other driver walked away unharmed.
