LL COOL J is reported to be starring in a remake of the cult classic film 'DOLEMITE'.

The original 1975 movie followed a fictional character, played by Rudy Ray Moore, as he attempted to regain control of his nightclub from gangsters.

Now, according to www.launch.com, the rapper turned actor has signed up to star in the remake, as well as taking on an executive producer role in the project.

LL Cool J's previous acting roles include parts in the blockbuster movies 'Deep Blue Sea', 'Charlie's Angels', and the forthcoming remake of 'Rollerball'.
