LOOPER SEND THEMSELVES TO SLEEP

Looper have been forced to cancel most of their UK tour this week due to exhaustion.

The band, fronted by ex-Belle & Sebastian member Stuart David, are said to be looking to rest after two months in the US as support to The Flaming Lips. Only two dates, at London Dingwalls (June 8) and Glasgow King Tut's (June 11) remain of the original seven. The cancelled dates are: Hove's Old Market Theatre (June 4), Bristol's Fleece and Firkin (June 5), Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms (June 6), Northampton Roadmenders (June 9) and Manchester University Union (June 10).
