Lorde unveils cover of Tears For Fears’ ‘Everybody Wants To Rule The World’

The track will appear on 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' soundtrack

Lorde has unveiled a preview of her cover for Tears For Fears’ ‘Everybody Wants To Rule The World’.

The track, which you can hear a snippet of below, will feature on the forthcoming The Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack.

The official film soundtrack will be released on November 19 and also features the brand new Coldplay song ‘Atlas’ and The National’s new track ‘Lean’. Other artists to have contributed songs include Patti Smith, The Lumineers, Ellie Goulding, Christina Aguilera, The Weeknd and Santigold.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is the sequel to last year’s The Hunger Games, an adaptation of the first novel in a trilogy by author Suzanne Collins. The film grossed close to $700 million (£450 million) worldwide, becoming the ninth highest earner of 2012. It will open in cinemas worldwide on November 22.
