Lorde shares a photo revealing that she is back in recording studio
Singer's last album, 'Pure Heroine', was released last year
The singer posted the image, which you can see to the right of the page, on her Instagram account with the caption: "i always remind myself to bring a candle for the studio and finally i did today and ohhhhhhh."
In July of this year, Lorde revealed that she will curate the soundtrack for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1. The singer will work on the music for the third film adaptation from the best-selling book series and will also provide the lead single for the soundtrack, which will be released on November 21.
Lorde, who became the first female artist to win the Best Rock Video prize at the MTV Video Music Awards last month (August 24), has also recently claimed she is struggling to write new songs as the material sounds too similar to her first album.
“I'm definitely writing new stuff," she said. "I don’t know how everything will end up. The first period of writing after you have recorded an album, it all sounds like the album before it. I'm trying to get that out of my system and move it to a new place. But I’ve been writing with some good people and just doing weird, cool stuff, which is always good for being creative."
