Lorde made a surprise appearance at FYF Fest in Los Angeles on Sunday night (August 23), joining Flume onstage.

Australian electronic producer Flume was performing at the festival, headlined by Morrissey and Kanye West, when the New Zealand singer made an impromptu cameo during his remix of her hit 'Tennis Court'.

Miike Snow singer Andrew Wyatt also performed 'Some Minds' during the set.





Lorde is working on her second album release, recently describing it as "exciting, scary" and influenced by Robyn.

The New Zealand star released her debut album 'Pure Heroine' in 2013, with her producer and co-writer Joel Little recently claiming that the singer was "trying new things" for her next LP.

Lorde will also appear on the new Disclosure album. The electronic duo's second album 'Caracal' will be released in September.
