Los Campesinos! turned their Leeds Festival show this afternoon (August 28) into a birthday party for their violin player, Harriet Campesinos!

The Cardiff-based collective dedicated 'You! Me! Dancing!' to her from the NME/Radio 1 Stage, with singer Gareth Campesinos! telling the crowd about her special day halfway through the show.

"We're pushed for time so we can't do our show as spectacularly as we would normally," he said. "But today is Harriet's birthday, so can you give her a big cheer after the next song?"

During their short set the eight-piece played songs from their three albums: 2007 debut 'Hold On Now, Youngster…', 2008 follow-up 'We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed' and recent LP 'Romance Is Boring'. Tracks on the setlist included 'Death To Los Campesinos!', 'Miserabilia' and 'The Sea Is A Good Place To Think Of The Future'.

Wrapping up their set, Gareth dedicated 'Sweet Dreams, Sweet Cheeks' to the stage crew and security staff before declaring Wild Beasts, who were next up on the stage, as the "best band in the UK". He then jumped into the crowd before returning to mount a speaker stack.

Los Campesinos! played:

'Death To Los Campesinos!'
'Miserabilia'
'Straight In At 101'
'Romance Is Boring'
'My Year In Lists'
'You! Me! Dancing!'
'The Sea Is A Good Place To Think Of The Future'
'Sweet Dreams, Sweet Cheeks'
