Lostprophets have announced a series of dates around their V Festival appearances.

The band will play three dates before and after the August 16-17 event.

The shows are:

Edinburgh Corn Exchange (August 13)
Sheffield Carling Academy (14)
Birmingham Academy (18)

Lostprophets are one of my favourite bands, I've seen them loads and I already had V Festival tickets, mainly for Muse at first, I hate The Verve, but now there's loads of stuff I'm excited about and this is such a bonus. I went absolutely apeshit when Ian Watkins announced it onstage at the astoria last week. Wooooooooo for V. Also, if my valuable source is correct, Muse and 'Prophets are same stage, same day. MEGA LOLZ.
