Lou Reed announces European premiere of 'Berlin'

Lou Reed has announce details of the European premiere of’Berlin’.

As previously reported Reed has already recreated his landmark 1973 album with the help of Antony Hegarty of Antony & The Johnsons.

Reed will tour the album will the aid of a 30-piece ensemble including his band, a string and horn section and a children’s choir.

The European concerts will begin in Brussels on June 18.

The UK dates are:

London Hammersmith Apollo (June 30, July 1)

Tickets are set to go on sale at 9am on Friday (March 16).
