Lou Reed adds 'Berlin' date
New York legend to play Manchester International Festival
Lou Reed has added a third UK date to his ’Berlin’ European tour.
Reed is set to play the Manchester International Festival on Friday 29 June.
He will also play London’s Carling Hammersmith Apollo on June 30 and July 1.
The singer will play his 1973 album ’Berlin’ in its entirety. He will be performing with a 30-piece ensemble including his band, a string and horn section and a children’s choir.
Tickets for Manchester International Festival go on sale on Friday (March 23) at 10am.
