Lupe Fiasco gig postponed

The rapper is forced to move venues following weekend incident

Lupe Fiasco’s gig that was due to take place tonight (September 25) at The Scala has been postponed due to an incident at the weekend.

The gig will now take place at Islington Academy on October 9.

As previously reported by NME.COM, a man was shot outside The Scala while the venue was hosting a club night on September 23.

The victim was then pronounced dead in the early hours of Sunday (September 24) morning, 12 hours after the incident took place.

A official statement released today says: “Due to an unrelated incident which took place on Saturday at The Scala, we regret to inform you that Lupe Fiasco's gig has been cancelled this evening.”
